New Zealander of the Year Awards 2011
The New Zealander of the Year Awards 2011 will launch on the 3rd of August, 2010. This will begin our nationwide search to celebrate our inspirational Kiwis.
The New Zealander of the Year Awards recognise, encourage and reward New Zealand’s most vital resource - its people. The awards will seek out and promote the incredible achievements of individuals, organisations and community groups and create a sense of national pride, unity and inspiration through their example as mentors and role models to the wider community.
The awards will recognise and highlight the achievements of New Zealanders making a contribution to our country. Nominations can be made in the following five award categories:
All nominations must be received by 6pm on Friday 22nd October, 2010. Judging will take place on Tuesday 7th December 2010. Each Award category will acknowledge three finalists (high achievers) and these three finalists will attend the Gala Awards Presentation dinner in Auckland on Wednesday 2nd February 2011 where the winner in each category will be announced.
All nominees and family will be invited to attend the Gala Awards Presentation dinner in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Auckland on Wednesday 2nd February 2011.
